Article 9 Protocol tussen de Benelux-Staten (het Koninkrijk België, het Groothertogdom Luxemburg, het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden) en Georgië ter uitvoering van de Overeenkomst tussen de Europese Unie en Georgië inzake de overname van personen die zonder vergunning op het grondgebied verblijven

1 A transit application shall be submitted to the competent authority of the Requested Party by email, fax or other means of telecommunication at least eight (8) working days before transit takes place, using the form attached as Annex 6 to the Agreement.

2 The competent authority of the Requested Party shall reply by email, fax or other means of telecommunication without delay, but within five (5) working days after the receipt of the transit application as to whether it consents to the transit, time of transfer, envisaged point of entry, type of transit and possible use of escorts. The form to be used for this purpose is attached as Annex 5 to this Protocol.

3 In principle, transit shall take place by air.
