1 — Provisional Approval Verdrag tussen de Regering van het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden en de Regering van de Republiek Indonesië inzake audiovisuele coproductie

Provisional Approval

To be granted access to the benefits provided for in this Agreement, the coproducers of the respective Parties shall, appended to their request for provisional approval, no later than forty (40) days before the shooting begins, address to the Competent Authorities a file including:

a) a document concerning the acquisition of the author’s rights for the exploitation of the audiovisual work;

b) a synopsis providing accurate information on the nature of the topic of the audiovisual work;

c) a provisional list of the cast and crew (i.e. the artistic and technical professionals involved);

d) the provisional work plan, with an indication of the number of days and/or weeks of shootings (studios and outside locations) and of the countries (or regions) in which the productions will be shot;

e) an estimated and detailed budget and financial plan, including costs and resources relating to each Party;

f) the contracts or confirmation of commitment, for the director and, where these have already been signed, for the cast and crew from each of the Parties;

g) the promotion plan and the theatrical and non-theatrical distribution plans;

h) the coproduction contract(s);

i) any other document requested by the Competent Authorities to examine the artistic, technical, or financial aspects of the project.

The Competent Authority of the Party with minority participation shall grant its approval only after receiving the advice of the Competent Authority of the Party with majority participation.
