GENERAL PROVISIONS

1 For the purpose of the application of this Agreement the competent authorities of the Parties shall communicate through their central authorities, which are:

a) for Ukraine: the Prosecutor General’s Office concerning requests during the pre-trial stage and the Ministry of Justice concerning requests during the trial and enforcement of sentence stages;

b) for the Kingdom of the Netherlands: the Minister of Security and Justice.

2 Requests and answers shall be exchanged by any means which leaves a written record under conditions allowing them to establish their authenticity.
