Excellency:

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your note No. FA/160 of February 4, 1953, concerning a number of unsettled claims affecting our two Governments which have been the subject of discussions between representatives of our two Governments.

Your note states the understanding and agreement of the Government of the Netherlands to be as follows:

I have the honor to state that my Government concurs in the foregoing understandings and agreements. This note and your note No. FA/160 dated February 4, 1953 will constitute the agreement between our two Governments on the settlement of the matters described herein.
