Sir,

I have the honour to refer to your Note of today, in which you were good enough to inform me:

1) that the International Refugee Organization is desirous to see that the Agreement between the Netherlands Government and the International Refugee Organization of June 20, 1950, providing for the assistance to 30 aged refugees under the mandate of the International Refugee Organization and to their 10 dependents, be extended to six additional aged refugees, who are beneficiaries under annuity insurance policies, issued by the Life Assurance Company of the Netherlands Insurance Company;

2) that the International Refugee Organization agrees to pay the total cost of the premium of these policies, or Dutch guilders 16.751 (sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty-one).

I have the honour to confirm the Netherlands Government's acceptance of this extension and their concurrence in your suggestion that your Note, and the present Note in reply thereto, should be regarded as constituting an Additional Agreement to the Agreement between the Netherlands Government and the International Refugee Organization of June 20, 1950.
