Monsieur l'Ambassadeur,

I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of Your Excellency's Note of this day which reads as follows:

In reply I have the honour to inform you that the foregoing proposal is acceptable to the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands who therefore agree that Your Excellency's Note together with this reply shall constitute the Agreement reached between the two Governments in this matter, and that it shall enter into force on the first day of the month following the month in which the two Contracting Parties have informed each other that the approval constitutionally required in the two states has been obtained.

I avail myself of this opportunity to renew to Your Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration.
