My dear Ambassador,

I have received your letter dated 27th July, 1965 reading as follows:

I confirm that the understandings mentioned in your above quoted note are acceptable to the Government of India. I agree that your Note, together with this reply, shall constitute an Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Government of India which shall enter into force on the date on which the Netherlands Government notifies the Government of India that the constitutional requirements which are in force in her country, have been complied with. I also agree that this Agreement shall be provisionally effective on the date of this reply.

Please accept, Mr. Ambassador, the renewed assurance of my highest consideration.
