Excellency,

I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of Your Excellency's letter of the 24th of June, 1976, which reads as follows:

I have the honour to confirm that the proposal set forth in the above letter is acceptable to the Government of Jamaica and that Your Excellency's letter and this reply shall constitute an agreement between our two Governments, which shall enter into effect on the date of receipt by the Government of Jamaica of a letter indicating that the constitutional requirements in the Kingdom of the Netherlands have been complied with. The agreement shall remain in force for an indefinite period and be subject to termination by either Government serving six months notice on the other. Termination by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands may be limited to one of the constituent parts of the Kingdom.
