Protocol Number II — to the Agreement between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the International Atomic Energy Agency for the Application of Safeguards with Respect to the Netherlands Antilles in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and Additional Protocol I to the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America Overeenkomst tussen het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden en de Internationale Organisatie voor Atoomenergie inzake de toepassing van waarborgen met betrekking tot de Nederlandse Antillen in verband met het Verdrag inzake de niet-verspreiding van kernwapens en Aanvullend Protocol I bij het Verdrag tot verbod van kernwapens in Latijns-Amerika (met Protocol I en II)

to the Agreement between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the International Atomic Energy Agency for the Application of Safeguards with Respect to the Netherlands Antilles in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and Additional Protocol I to the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America

I. Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 25 of the Agreement with respect to the Netherlands Antilles if the Kingdom of the Netherlands declares the EURATOM Treaty applicable to the Netherlands Antilles and if an agreement is in force between the Agency, the Community and the Non-Nuclear-Weapon States Members of the Community in accordance with Article III of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, the Agreement with respect to the Netherlands Antilles shall be replaced by the Agreement between the Agency, the Community and the Non-Nuclear-Weapon States Members of the Community, with a view to ensuring continued application of safeguards without interruption. Such replacement shall take effect in accordance with procedures to be agreed upon by the parties concerned.

II. This Protocol shall be signed by the representatives of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and of the Agency and shall enter into force on the same date as the Agreement with respect to the Netherlands Antilles.
